A match made in heaven?
The agency and client relationship is great when it works well, but can be hell when it doesn’t. From the right mind set to getting a budget that works for both sides Richard will draw on 35 years of experience to provide practical insights and guidance on making the client agency work. And maybe even have some fun on the way.

About the speaker

Richard is a specialist management consultant for marketing services agencies.

He spent the first 25 years of his career in public relations consultancy, holding senior management and MD roles in three top 10 agencies. He also ran his own technology PR agency for a decade, specialising in fast growth companies from start-up to sale or IPO.

During his agency career he led international campaigns covering 42 countries and handled issues ranging from product recalls, aggressive take-overs, new product launches, shipping and aircraft accidents and tutoring a Saudi Princess for her Public Relations degree (no, really!).

A regular columnist for PR Week, he writes on the business of public relations in the Agency Doctor column.  Richard is a board member and past president of the International Communications Consultants Organisation; and former Chairman of the PRCA, and the founding Fellow of the association.

He is joint author of Grow, Build, Sell, Live, a practical guide to running and building an agency and enjoying it.
